FUCK! Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares, Channel 4, 9.00pm If there's one thing lowculture loves, it's swearing. Don't listen to what your mother told you – it is both big and clever and generally great. In fact, it's the reason why we're glued to the screen every time Gordon Ramsay makes an appearance. His swearing is fluent, inventive... poetic, even. And he's not short of opportunities to swear in this series, as he travels round the country trying to save the businesses of hopeless restaurant owners. This week, he returns to the Walnut Tree Inn, which he first tackled in the last series, to make sure they have been following his advice. God help them if they haven't!

According to Marxist theory, cultural forms such as opera, classical music and the literary works of Shakespeare all fall under the heading of high culture. Low culture refers to a wide variety of cultural themes that are characterised by their consumption by the masses.
We might not be Marxists, but we do know we loved Footballers Wives. If you do too, you'll know what this is all about.
