TANYA'S BLONDE HIGHLIGHTS

show just how low each show goes – the more Tanyas a show scores, the more mental it is.
» OOKY! Dead Like Me, Sky One, 9.00pm
This has nothing to do with the show in question, but we're finding it continually hard not to type "Sky Onc", thanks to that rubbish font they're using these days. Anyway, there'll be a small-but-appreciative "hurrah!" on the lowculture messageboards for this, the first episode of the second season of the I Was A Teenage Reaper drama. We caught a few episodes of the first series, and if they were anything to go by, this is well worth an hour of your time. Make the most of it though - it's been axed in the States... 
» SPOOKY! High Spirits With Shirley Ghostman, BBC3, 9.30pm
We got a slap on the wrists from a reader a few weeks back for not recommending this, so never let it be said that lowculture does not pay attention to our user feedback. The ones we don't throw in the bin, anyway. Tonight's episode sounds like a bit of a chortle: Shirley is somewhat chagrined when a viewer by the name of Mrs Jennifer Oxley complains about the show, so in order to resolve the complaint, she takes the reasonable course of action and contacts the spirit of Mrs Oxley's late husband.
» KOOKY! No Angels, Channel 4, 10.00pm
It's a new series for the Nurses Just Wanna Have Fun drama that proved a hit for Channel 4 last year. We have to admit to having lost interest in the series about midway through the first run, though possibly through no fault of its own, but more because we kept forgetting to watch it. We're going to attempt to mend our neglectful ways with this second series, though. Tonight Beth (played by Jo Joyner, whom we saw in her graduating performance from drama school, fact fans) sets her sights on the son of a wealthy and infirm patient. The NHS was never this much fun when we had our tonsils out.
