Top Of The Swaps

O-V-A-H! Top Of The Pops, BBC1, 7pm
Tonight marks good old TOTP's last appearance on BBC1 before it coasts gently into its dotage on BBC2. But don't fret – from next Sunday you can expect a winning mix of classic clips, acts from the Radio 2 playlist and a roster of guest presenters that includes Jeremy Clarkson and Phill Jupitus. Aaaaaargh! It's a sad reflection of the state of modern pop that what should be the country's flagship music show is being relegated to a dreadful slot on a minority channel. We feel particularly sorry for anyone out there who might happen to work for TOTP's spin-off magazine, as redundancy can surely not be far off.
