Don't point that thing at me, soldier
It's fair to say that the US army does not have its troubles to seek at present. Leaving aside for a moment that whole business with Iraq (this is, after all, REALLY not the place), they are also having to deal with an unexpected... erm... assault from the rear.
It seems that a bunch of gay-for-pay paras have been caught doing all sorts on camera for a non work-safe adult site for gentlemen to earn a few quid on the side. Seven soldiers have been charged in total, for crimes including "sodomy, pandering and engaging in sex for money while being filmed. One has also been charged with "adultery", a development almost too ridiculous to even consider.
Four of the naughty chaps of the 82nd Airborne have been confined to barracks as punishment, and the remainder are still waiting to hear their fate – although the mean old army is demanding that the whole lot of 'em should be discharged. This seems a bit rich, given that it was them discharging for the cameras that started the whole sorry affair in the first place.
