If, like your friends at lowculture, you’ve been known to watch a fair amount of daytime TV, you’ll be familiar with the endless ambulance-chasing adverts for personal injury “specialists”. To get the other side of the story, this series follows just such a company to show us what happens behind the scenes. In tonight’s show, Amelans (the company in question) battle Manchester City Council over their cases, and hope for big things from their advertising campaign. We’ll be watching the backgrounds carefully for innocent bystanders slipping on poorly-advertised spillages, or taking a painful tumble from an incorrectly-grounded stepladder. You can get a lot of money for that, y’see.
