TANYA'S BLONDE HIGHLIGHTS
All the TV that's mad, bad, or just a little bit evil for Wednesday. Our Tiny Tanya Turner ratings show just how low each show goes – the more Tanyas a show scores, the more mental it is.
» CUNNING STINGS! Coronation Street, ITV1, 7.30pm
We know we've been picking this quite a lot recently, but frankly they're running such brilliant storylines in Weatherfield right now we just can't help ourselves. Ciaran's restaurant dream is lying in tatters (which couldn't possibly have anything to do with him inviting Tyrone, Kirk and the Duckworths to his opening and having them set the tone), while Maya and Leanne pop into the music shop, pick up a guitar and a piano, and do a little duet of Shania Twain's 'I'm Gonna Getcha Good' especially for Dev. Awww.
» BINGO WINGS! Nip/Tuck, Channel 4, 10.00pm
We at lowculture like to remind you when actors from brilliant-but-doomed shows manage to shake off their curses and keep their acting career afloat. So hurrah for the appearance of Leslie Ann Grossman (Mary Cherry from Popular, one of Ryan Murphy's less successful projects) in tonight's show, requesting surgery on her bingo wings. In other news, Sean decides to have a vasectomy, and since his son looks frighteningly like Michael Jackson, he has our full support in this endeavour.
» BOUNCEY THINGS! Can You Pull...Jordan, E4, 10.00pm
Hmmm. We were under the impression that the subjects of this show were meant to pose something of a pulling challenge. Britney Spears, for example, despite what the tabloids might like to suggest, is probably quite choosy about who she dates. But Jordan? How we laugh. We're expecting this to be a pretty short show, since "yes" doesn't take all that long to say. Next week: Can You Pull...The Foil Top Off Your Yoghurt?
