Monday's Low Points

This is getting harder to write with every passing day, as the TV companies are dredging up all kinds of utter rubbish (not even good rubbish) and sticking it on because everyone is away on holiday. Pah! Anyway, at least we tried ...
» Popworld 9am, Channel 4 ... Actually, it's not all bad, because the summer holidays have started, so we get to relive a selection of the best bits of Popworld. And yes, we're well aware that we slept in and didn't post this bit until after it was finished, but at least you have plenty of time to prepare for tomorrow's episode.
» Ground Force America 8.30pm, BBC1 ... Exactly the same as the British one, except in America. They've even had Charlie Dimmock and her tits imported specially.
» Ruby Wax Meets ... Liza Minelli (And Husband) 10.35pm, BBC1 ... This profile of Liza and her odd hubby, David Gest, should be worth a look – although if you're easily freaked out, it's probably best not to look directly at him.

About Us

According to Marxist theory, cultural forms such as opera, classical music and the literary works of Shakespeare all fall under the heading of high culture. Low culture refers to a wide variety of cultural themes that are characterised by their consumption by the masses. We might not be Marxists, but we do know we loved Footballers Wives. If you do too, you'll know what this is all about.
