TANYA'S BLONDE HIGHLIGHTS
All the TV that's mad, bad, or just a little bit evil for Monday. Our Tiny Tanya Turner ratings show just how low each show goes – the more Tanyas a show scores, the more mental it is.
» GRIEVING! Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Sky Mix, 7.00pm
This is one of our favourite ever Buffy episodes: "Selfless", or as we like to call it, "All About Anya". Sunnydale's favourite vengeance demon slaughters an Abercrombie & Fitch catalogue, at which point Buffy decides that Anya has gone beyond redemption and must be slain. We think this is a little harsh considering that Buffy managed to find enough forgiveness for Spike despite him attempting to rape her in the previous season, but Buffy doesn't tend to take our advice when we shout at our TV, oddly enough. Watch out for cameos from D'Hoffryn and Halfrek (both of whom are gone too soon, sadly) and a delightful flashback to "Once More, With Feeling" (including the immortal line "I've boned a troll, I've wreaked some wrath/But on the whole, I've had no path.”)
» LEAVING! I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here!, ITV1, 9.00pm
ITV continues to stretch the definition of the word "celebrity" to absolute breaking point, as one of our nonentities gets released and sits back in a plush hotel waiting for the phone to ring. But who will it be?
» ACHIEVING! Long Way Round, Sky One, 9.00pm
We keep meaning to recommend this every week, and every week we forget, but we've remembered in time to point you towards the final episode. Ewan and Charley are heading for New York to end their journey, and a more entertaining pair of travelling companions you couldn't possibly hope to find. This series is well worth checking out: it's entertaining, educational and thoroughly well-made. Entirely the opposite of what you expect from Sky One, in other words.
