TANYA'S BLONDE HIGHLIGHTS
All the TV that's mad, bad, or just a little bit evil for Friday. Our Tiny Tanya Turner ratings show just how low each show goes – the more Tanyas a show scores, the more mental it is.
» END! French and Saunders, BBC One, 9.00pm
To say that this series has been patchy is a bit like saying Reservoir Dogs is "a bit violent", but this is the last episode of the series, so hopefully Dawn & Jen have kept the big guns for the big finale. Anyway, we can't bring ourselves to hate anything that the marvellous Liza Tarbuck is in.
» FRIEND! Max and Paddy's Road To Nowhere, Channel 4, 9.30pm
Friday night on Channel 4 appears to be dysfunctional male twosome night, what with this and Peep Show. Tonight Max runs into an old friend from school and learns an upsetting secret. Expect more bang-on observational humour from Peter Kay and Patrick McGuinness. Is it wrong that we find Paddy hot?
» DEPEND! Peep Show, Channel 4, 10.00pm
The first episode was excellent, the second merely good, so it's anybody's guess how tonight's instalment will turn out. The plotline sounds a bit of a corker though: Mark is filmed drinking lager in the park and subsequently appears on a news report documenting antisocial behaviour, much to his embarrassment. Jeremy, meanwhile, is trying to exercise his altruistic side in order to impress beautiful-but-strange Nancy.
