YOU KNOW WE BELONG TOGETHER (EVEN THOUGH WE'RE ACTUALLY BOTH BOYS)

If you were reading earlier in the week, you might remember that we're already getting excited about the return of Saint Pippa of the Bay to Home and Away.
Actress Debra Lawrence can usually be relied upon to turn up on the set at the first sniff of a wedding, christening or funeral, so it's not a great surprise to see her back for Sally's forthcoming wedding.
This time around, though, the producers have decided to give her a storyline of her own. Hooray!
Pippa will be accompanied by her son Chris, who was about two the last time we were aware of his presence in the show. He's all grown up now, though, and Pippa is worried about the lad – she thinks he might be A Gay, and that he's too scared to tell her.
In the world of soap, these things have a habit of coming out sooner rather than later, especially when randy young Chris is going around Summer Bay making clumsy Todd Grimshaw-style passes at the boys – and, in particular, Seb.
Unfortunately, his odd behaviour doesn't go down very well with the locals. Will Pippa manage to convince her boy that it's OK with her if he wants to do bums before he runs away forever? Tune in next week to watch the big gay saga unfold.

About Us

According to Marxist theory, cultural forms such as opera, classical music and the literary works of Shakespeare all fall under the heading of high culture. Low culture refers to a wide variety of cultural themes that are characterised by their consumption by the masses. We might not be Marxists, but we do know we loved Footballers Wives. If you do too, you'll know what this is all about.
