FUCK ME FACTS!
Amazing things about Tuesday, March 9*:
» A film portraying Barbie as a lesbian was banned in Mexico two years ago. Toy makers Mattel felt Barbie Gets Sad Too was pornographic and would spoil the image of the doll. Who we all know is happy to dump long standing standing boyfriends for pieces of surfer fluff.
» 80s TV rodent Roland Rat claimed Chris Tarrant had stolen his laugh, because it was similar to his "hee-heeee, rat fans!" catchphrase.
» Kissing in public was banned in Naples on penalty of death in 1562. The first screen kiss was in The Widow Jones in 1896. It was deemed "absolutely disgusting."
» Nobody of any interest to us is celebrating their birthday, although the first man in space, the late Yuri Gagarin, was born. Today also marks the 43rd anniversary of the Russians sending the first dog, Laika, into space on board Sputnik 9.
» Hungry for more? Busted play the Cardiff Arena today.
*Any similarity these facts have to those which may have been published yesterday by accident is purely coincidental. Ahem.
