FUCK ME FACTS!
Amazing things about Wednesday, March 10:
» Hear'Say played their first gig at London's Astoria nightclub on this day in 2001. Aw, bless.
» Two years ago, Victoria Beckham said her new baby would not be called Trafford, and that the child had not been conceived at Old Trafford. That would have been illegal, she said.
» On the same day, Michael Parkinson branded Celebrity Big Brother a "freak show" and said the contestants deserved everything they got. Several thousand pounds to take part, and copious amounts of food and drink? We'll have some of that!
» A Japanese soldier was discovered hiding on Lubang Island in the Phillipines. He was unaware World War II had finished nearly 30 years previously, and was waiting to be picked up by his own forces . . .
» . . . luckily, said soldier would have been bang up to date by the time dog spectacles were patented a year later.
» Happy birthday to: Fanny-flasher Sharon Stone (46), singer Neneh Cherry (40), and presenter Colin Murray (27).
