FUCK ME FACTS!

Amazing things about January 12:
» Pow! Thwack! Etc! Batman appeared on US tv for the first time in 1966.
» Denise Van Outen and Johnny Vaughan made their last smut-filled appearance on The Big Breakfast in 1991.
» Milton Keynes was announced on this day in 1967.
» American TV viewers experienced their first taste of Dynasty in 1981. Unfortunately, the first series was rubbish, and it didn't really take off until the following year, when Joan Collins was installed as TV's first superbitch, Alexis. Memorable plots included Blake's son being the first soap bummer, Alexis getting married a lot, and Krystal going mental while chucking the best china at her dinner guests, forcing Blake to make the agonising decision to send her off to Switzerland to be put into a coma to save him further embarrassment.
