Amazing things about August 13:
» Rod Hull would be celebrating his birthday today, were it not for the prevailing circumstances.
» Bambi was released at cinemas in 1942. If it came out today, Prince William would probably be in the front row chucking spears at the screen.
» Caroline O'Shea, of Big Brother 1 "fame", vowed on this day in 2000 that she would knock Nasty Nick's block off when he was evicted from the house. As far as we know, she failed to do any such thing.
» Robbie Williams announced in 1999 that Take That were spawned by Satan.
» It's National Left Handers day today. We're eagerly awaiting the announcement of National Left Footers Day, which sounds like it would be much more our kind of thing.
