Gareth Gates-gate.
She said they did. He said they didn't. Now he admits they have.
Finally, Gareth Gates has confirmed he did have a dalliance with Jordan shortly after Pop Idol, and while she was five months pregnant.
Appearing red-eyed and stoney-faced in today's heat magazine, Mr Gates admitted he had a "brief*" relationship with the top-heavy glamour model, adding that he had denied the gossip out of embarrassment.
He conducted the interview by jotting down sentences on a notepad. We just hope he didn't draw any diagrams . . .
*and that's a whole different rumour.
