» Paul Shane, the man who brought mirth to the nation as the comedy fat bloke in Hi De Hi, You Rang, M'Lord, and Oh, Doctor Beeching!, is 63 today. Scotland's one-time king of daytime TV, Paul Coia, is 48. And Paula Abdul is 40.
