Good news (or not, depending on your point of view)

We get literally no emails each day begging for news of H and Claire, those pop homewreckers who tore our beloved Steps asunder that fateful Boxing Day.
Nevertheless, we decided to do some digging to find out exactly what had become of them. And – hooray! – they are still alive. Just.
Claire, apparently, has been too busy planning her forthcoming wedding to bother with doing any work. And H is mulling over an offer to appear in a West End musical (Rent? Or was that a different rumour?).
But! Despite all this excitement, they have assured fans they have not given up their pop career, and maintain they have not been dropped by WEA records (there is even fanciful talk of meetings at which potential new songs have been played).
So all is well with the world.
