Monday's Low Points

The schlock you won't want to miss today
» Catchphrase 5.30pm, ITV1 ... Just when you thought it was safe to turn on the TV, they go and bring back Mark Curry! This time, the former Blue Peter irritant is saying what he sees as the latest person to try to fill the shoes of Roy Walker. Urgh.
» Coronation Street 7.30pm and 8.30pm, ITV1 ... It looks like the Monday night Corrie double bill is here to stay, so we can look forward to even more convoluted but juicy cliffhangers to start the week. Tonight, there's a scrap between Les and Mick and Lucy the florist tells Peter where he can stick his marriage (ie up Shelley's arse).
» Never Mind The Buzzcocks 9pm, BBC2 ... Featuring our favourite page 3 stunna, Sam Fox. No lesbian lovers, though, sadly.
» V Graham Norton 10pm, Channel 4 ... Graham's coming from US this week, so this means we will be able to enjoy guests from New York's Z-list instead of London's.

About Us

According to Marxist theory, cultural forms such as opera, classical music and the literary works of Shakespeare all fall under the heading of high culture. Low culture refers to a wide variety of cultural themes that are characterised by their consumption by the masses. We might not be Marxists, but we do know we loved Footballers Wives. If you do too, you'll know what this is all about.
