Wet dream

The new series of Smallville is hitting its stride on US tv. Last week's episode featured the first appearance of classic comic character Aquaman, played by Alan Ritchson.

Arthur "A.C" Curry manages to save Lois from drowning, and it turnes out he has incredible swimming abilities – which is handy, as it means he will be spending much of his time on the show either half naked, dripping wet or both.

Those of you with longer memories might remember Alan as an American Idol 3 contestant who tried to curry favour with Paul Abdul by serenading her during his audition.

Just in case you have forgotten what he looks like, we are pleased to provide this picture of him in Smallville. Unfortunately we simply could not find one of him with his shirt on, but hope this does not cause too many problems.

» It occurs to us now that there wasn't really much of a point to this story at all, was there? Oh well.
