Monday's Low Points
The stuff you won't want to miss today.
» Today With Des and Mel 1pm, ITV1 ... Atomic Kitten are scheduled to join the Orange One today – but how many of them will turn up?
» Murder, She Wrote 2.35pm, BBC1 ... Today's episode is entitled "Tough Guys Don't Die". The arrival of Jessica Fletcher soon proves that this is nonsense.
» The Christmas Show 5pm, ITV1 ... This flimsy offering is described as "a feast of festive-flavoured fun", with Eammon Holmes and Tess Daly presiding over the whole fiasco. With GMTV in the morning, This Morning a bit later, Today with Des and Mel just after lunch then this at tea-time, Mis-teeq must surely be considering some sort of cloning so they can appear on them all every day.
» Coronation Street 7.30pm and 8.30pm, ITV1 ... Ooh, we don't like the look of that Brenda Ferns. After her little outburst the other week about Todd and Sarah's living arrangements ("The Lord did not create the body for for-ni-caaation"), it is surely only a matter of time before she decides that little Bethany must be removed from their palace of sin and, Todd's case, bumming. She makes a good start tonight by not bothering to bring Beth back at the arranged time. We predict she will be attempting to chuck the poor child off a church roof so she can "be with daddy in heaven" within the month.
