The schlock you won't want to miss today.
» Doctor Who 6pm, UK Gold ... The first half of City of Death, a cheerful comic romp which sees Tom Baker as the Doctor, assisted by Romana, who is dressed up as a schoolgirl, for some reason. And it was written by Douglas Adams, so it's actually quite funny.
» EastEnders 8pm, BBC1 ... In just a few short weeks, Janine is going to push Fat Barry off a cliff to his doom. Hoorah! Until then, we have to put up with the gormless lummox being stupid four times a week in our televisions. And he's being really dumb tonight.
» My Worst Week 11.20pm, BBC1 ... Brian Harvey recalls the week he was unceremoniously booted out of East 17 after making some careless remarks about necking 12 ecstacy tablets in one night and loving it.
» Shaving Ryan's Privates 11.15pm, Five ... A look at what happens when the brightest and best porn directors remake blockbuster films in their own special style.
