Tuesday's Low Points

The schlock you won't want to miss today.
» To Buy Or Not To Buy 11.30am, BBC1 ... The mantle of BBC1 Daytime Gay Supertotty passes this week from Alistair Appleton to Kristian Digby, who pops up in this as the really cute one.
» Today with Des and Mel 1pm, ITV1 ... Today's guest is Joe Mangel from out of Neighbours, who seems to think his name is actually Mark Little, and that he is some kind of comedian.
» Holby City 8pm, BBC1 (8.30pm in Scotland) ... Poor Dr Rick! Despite Sandy's generous parting gift, he's still seriously short of cash – although that hasn't stopped him splashing it around with careless abandon. Tonight, his daughter Jess suffers the indignity of having the flash telly he's bought her as a birthday gift repossessed in the middle of her party.
» Little Britain 9pm, BBC3 ... Vicky Pollard gets a visit from her social worker.
» GoldenEye 9pm, ITV1 ... Pierce Brosnan stars in two hours of frantic villain chasing and lady shagging.
» Wife Swap 9pm, Channel 4 ... More hilarious partner-switching fun, which is followed at 10pm by a look back at how the couples from the last series were affected by their experiences.

About Us

According to Marxist theory, cultural forms such as opera, classical music and the literary works of Shakespeare all fall under the heading of high culture. Low culture refers to a wide variety of cultural themes that are characterised by their consumption by the masses. We might not be Marxists, but we do know we loved Footballers Wives. If you do too, you'll know what this is all about.
