The schlock you won't want to miss today
» Clarissa Explains It All 11am, Nickelodeon ... Another chance to see a pre-Sabrina Melissa Joan Hart in this old Live and Kicking filler favourite.
» The Bill 8pm, ITV1 ... It's absolute mayhem on the streets of Sun Hill, as yet another policeman gets murdered in the line of duty. This time, it's Matt Boyden who's off to the great custody desk in sky. But whodunnit? Tune in to spin-off show Think Murder on Saturday night to follow the investigation.
» Gimme, Gimme, Gimme 9pm, UK Gold ... We were just about the only people in the world who actually liked this programme. This is an episode from the first series, before it reached the ludicrous heights (?) of the later episodes, but it's still not too bad.
» Sex Change 10pm, Channel 4 ... Documentary following the progress of three transexuals who are about to have certain bits turned inside-out to make other bits, looking at the various treatments that patients have to go through to complete the change (it's not all chopping knobs off, you know).
