Thursday's Low Points
The schlock you won't want to miss today
» House Call 10am, BBC1 ... OK, it might be a bit early in the morning for our student readership, and far too late for those of us who have to go to work, but it does feature the rather lovely Kristian Digby, so that earns it an automatic recommendation.
» E! News Live 11am, E! ... La Toya Jackson will be sharing funny stories from her childhood and trying to flog her new album.
» House Doctor: Design For Living 8pm, Channel 5 ... Our favourite Californian, Anne Maurice, pops up again in this new spin-off show in which she helps a couple with different tastes redecorate their new home
» The Bill 8pm, ITV1 ... Yesterday, we observed that the thing that keeps Sun Hill officers busiest is getting murdered. Of course, what we neglected to mention was that the thing that keeps them second-busiest is doing the murdering themselves. Mad, bad Cathy Bradford takes a distinct turn for the madder and badder tonight, as Brandon's lesbian wife is about to discover to her cost.
» Play Your Cards Right 10.40pm, Challenge? ... Yes, we know it's the second time this week, but we didn't know then what we know now - ie that this is a special version enhanced with new-fangled digital playalongification. It's witchcraft!
