Trumptastic
BUSINESS! The Apprentice USA, BBC2, 11.20pm
We all got involved in Badgerwatch, aka the second series of the UK version of The Apprentice, hosted by the gruff-as-you-like Sralan Sugar. We had our favourites, some were happy with the result, some were not. But it doesn't matter! Because the Daddy is back, and we have 18 editions of the American original with the inimitable Donald Trump to enjoy. Hooray!
This is season three, so we've already had winners in the shape of Bill and Kelly. For those of you who didn't follow the previous seasons, Kelly was a bloke, so the question remains - will a woman win this time? Can we overcome the injustice that was Pamela and Sandy not making it into the final of the second season? A bunch of new aspiring corporate types are lining up to engage in thinly-veiled product placement to impress Mr Trump, and we are very excited - not least because of the return of George and Carolyn, Mr Trump's brilliant accomplices.
The first task involves marketing for Burger King, and there's a twist in the setup this time - the first two seasons pitted Men vs Women, but this time around it's Book Smarts vs Street Smarts. Will that make any difference? Will the bitching and backstabbing subside as a result? We hope not.
