THURSDAY'S LOW POINTS
Get your looking gear round these:
» The Bill 8pm, ITV1 ... If one had, say, some seriously incriminating evidence about a colleague that had been gained by extremely underhand means, where should one store it? A safe? A locked desk? A nondescript folder that would be unlikely to arouse suspicion if someone chanced upon it? Or a huuuuuuge brown envelope with GABRIEL written on the front in big letters with a magic marker? Yes, of course you would. And so it was that, last night, Jim Carver's detective skills were hardly tested when it came to discovering that June Ackland is really Gabriel Kent's mum. He reveals all to June tonight – not realising, of course, that she's been polishing Gabriel's helmet on a regular basis for quite some time now. Yuk.
» Fallen Angel: The Real Charlotte Church 9pm, Channel 4 ... Charlotte is about to get her mitts on her sizeable pile of loot, at last, and this programme features contributions from many of the people in her life who will not be getting a penny of it, including ex-boyfriend Steven Johnson and former manager Jonathan Shalit.
» The Brit Awards from 9pm, ITV2 ... Just in case you weren't suitably bored the first time around, you can sit through the whole sorry affair again – including the divine Thornton's triumphant post-show coverage.
» Father Ted 10pm, Channel 4 ... Father Ted hopes to win a priestly lookalike contest as Mother Theresa.
» Footballers Wives 11.30pm, ITV2 ... Another chance to see last night's fuckfest.
» Do you think we are a pack of losers with no taste in rubbish-but-enjoyable TV? Well, see if you can suggest anything better, then! Go on. Click on the comment link. We dare you.
