FUCK ME FACTS
Amazing things about January 3:
» Who Wants To Be A Millionaire was watched by an audience of 17.1million in 1999, making it the most popular quiz show for 15 years, knocking Bullseye off the top spot.
» At one point, there was a five year waiting list to be in the audience for Bullseye. Well, it was as close as most ordinary people would ever get to a real speedboat.
» Martin Luther was excommunicated by the Catholic church in 1521 for inventing Protestantism. Firm, but fair. Not wishing to rest on their laurels, they subsequently excommunicated Fidel Castro on this day in 1962.
» Steps had their first UK number one single with Tragedy on this day in 1999. A couple of years later, they split up. Coincidence?
» It was announced in 2001 that more tickets had been sold for the latest tour by the Tweenies than Britney Spears' last tour.
