Sunday's Low Points

The schlock you won't want to miss today
» Smallville 6.35pm, Channel 4 ... Clark finds some mysterious writings on the wall of a cave, and also meets a mysterious girl who could be able to tell him more about them.
» Dream Team 8pm, Sky One ... Every autumn, Dream Team comes back and we think it's not going to be as good as the previous year – mainly because they usually dump all the good characters and replace them with people who just can't act. Luckily, it always gets better as the series goes on, and this year is no exception. We think it will be hard for them to top last week's gut-wrenching episode in which goalkeeper Jamie was gunned down after taking the rest of the team hostage, but we'll be happy to be proved wrong.
» Mile High 10pm, Sky One ... Dream Team's sister show reaches a riotous climax, and Jason and Will resolve to send Marco off with a bang (although, naturally, Will has a rather different kind of bang in mind).
» Cult Selection: Larry Grayson's Generation Game 11.10pm, Challenge ... Good old Challenege have dug up some dodgy 70s episodes, in which Larry will be assisted in his door-shutting activities by the lovely Isla St Clair.

About Us

According to Marxist theory, cultural forms such as opera, classical music and the literary works of Shakespeare all fall under the heading of high culture. Low culture refers to a wide variety of cultural themes that are characterised by their consumption by the masses. We might not be Marxists, but we do know we loved Footballers Wives. If you do too, you'll know what this is all about.
