» A 'Kylie Out' campaign was launched this time last year by residents of a Somerset village who did not want the pop pixie to but a £15m country estate near them. We hope she wrote them a note, in her best handwriting, telling them to fuck off.
» Arthur Lowe, who played Captain Mainwaring in Dad's Army, died on this day in 1982.
