Fuck Me Facts!
Amazing facts about Monday, August 14:
» Anyone remember Channel 4 back in the days before Hollyoaks when we used to be treated to a succession of rather rubbish US sitcoms in the teatime slot? If you do, you'll be happy to learn that Susan Saint James, who was either Kate or Allie in Kate and Allie, was born on this day in 1946.
» The Weakest Link made its UK debut on 14 August 2000. Anne Robinson has graced our tellies with a face that would sour milk most afternoons since – although the prime time version now only makes occasional appearances. We'd rather see the Australian show, in which Anne's role was taken by Morag from out of Home And Away. Amazingly, when it first started in Oz, Cornelia Frances was the first woman to host a TV quiz show in the country's history!
