Congratulations to...

Image and video hosting by TinyPic ...Lucy Benjamin, winner of The X Factor: Battle Of The Stars, and, as the show has been very keen to remind us, the first woman to win The X Factor (insert your own variation on the "except for Shayne Ward, ho ho" joke here). We are very pleased about this for the following reasons:

1. She isn't Chris Moyles.
2. She isn't Nikki Sanderson.
3. This is the first time since the original Pop Idol that the person we were supporting has actually won any kind of reality/talent show.
4. She's the kind of person who, when asked how it feels to have won, replied: "this is nuts!"
5. She genuinely thought she was shit, and thus when she actually got positive feedback from the judges, she pulled faces like this:
