The schlock you won't want to miss today
» Stars Reunited 10am, BBC1 ... A TV idea so breathtakingly evil we can scarcely bring ourselves to tell you about it. Every morning this week, Dale Winton will be reuniting the casts of various clapped-out out TV shows so they can talk about old times and watch clips of themselves with embarrassing haircuts. First up are the people from All Creatures Great and Small (or, as the crew used to call it, All Creatures Grunt and Smell).
» Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan Noon and 10pm, Sci-Fi ... Nobody can overact as outrageously using just a pair of eyebrows as the splendid Ricardo Montalban, and he excels himself in this as the evil Khan.
» The Simpsons 7pm, Sky One ... George Bush (Sr) moves into a hitherto-unseen mansion across the road from the family.
» Dawson's Creek 8pm, E4 ... The final series begins. Will Joey choose Dawson or Pacey. And, more importantly, does anyone still care?
» Liquid News 8pm, BBC3 ... A new time slot for the entertainment news show, and a nice new presenter (Paddy O'Connell, the mad and possibly dangerous one from Celebdaq).

According to Marxist theory, cultural forms such as opera, classical music and the literary works of Shakespeare all fall under the heading of high culture. Low culture refers to a wide variety of cultural themes that are characterised by their consumption by the masses.
We might not be Marxists, but we do know we loved Footballers Wives. If you do too, you'll know what this is all about.
