School leave
Our very own Neil was out and about at the weekend, and chanced upon a pack of Z-list celebrities:
lowculture was surprised to bump into the Fame Academy students in an Aberdeen not-so-hotspot at the weekend.
Okay, so the nice lady who handed us a flier for the bar said they would be there, but then we remember being told Kylie was holding an impromptu concert in the T in the Park campsite a few years ago*.
Besides, we'd already been sold by the offer of a free shot with our drinks order which preceeded the promise of celebrities.
But sure enough, waiting inside were Malachi, David, Ainsley, Lemar and Nigel (and quite possibly some of the girls).
Unfortunately they at least equalled, if not outnumbered, the number of punters in the bar and spent part of their time clambering up seats to look out of the window.
After enjoying a drink unbothered by authograph hunters or, in Malachi's case, Daniel O'Donnell fans looking for fresh meat, the group moved on to another destination.
Style point of note: Ainsley was wearing what lowculture can only describe as a Cher Guevara t-shirt. We want one.
*Needless to say she wasn't, but we had to go along just to make sure.
