The schlock you won't want to miss today.
» The Bill 8pm, ITV1 ... Gary Best is selected for an undercover operation – but is he mature enough? Given that he ends up naked in a brothel, drugged up to the eyeballs, and unsure whether he's been bummed against his will, we are guessing ... probably not.
» Bad Girls 10pm, ITV2 ... This is more like a note to ourselves, as we forgot to watch last week's episode. But you can watch too, if you like.
» Jane Seymour Double Hallmark ... That's right, not one, but TWO films starring everyone's favourite medicine woman named Dr Quinn. In the first, Heart of a Stranger (3pm), Jane is a 38-year-old mother awaiting a heart donor, which is followed by Praying Mantis at 11pm, in which she is a slut who shags lots of rich men then kills them on their wedding night.
* If any of this sounds familiar to people who read lowculture before 11am yesterday, don't worry, you're not going mad. We got a bit ahead of ourselves and put the wrong ones up.

According to Marxist theory, cultural forms such as opera, classical music and the literary works of Shakespeare all fall under the heading of high culture. Low culture refers to a wide variety of cultural themes that are characterised by their consumption by the masses.
We might not be Marxists, but we do know we loved Footballers Wives. If you do too, you'll know what this is all about.
