Easter Sunday's Low Points

The schlock you won't want to miss today
» The Simpsons Sky One, 9.30pm. The classic comedy notches up its 300th episode. Bart decides he's had enough of Homer as a dad, and sues him for divorce.
» This Life 10.45pm, BBC2. Another chance to see the fantastic shag-and-lawyer-'em-up series. This week: Warren attempts to help Mile's drugged up thief of a girlfriend, Delilah, who promptly fucks off with the cash he lends her for a modelling assignment.
» Celebrity Shag Match 11pm, Sky One. With a title as promising as this, it would be simply rude not to see who's being featured in tonight's show.
» Are You Being Served: The Movie 12.15am, BBC1. Okay, strictly speaking this is tomorrow morning, but those of you with upset stomachs from eating too many Easter eggs will be ensured some non-gut-splitting comedy with countless reference to Mrs Slocombe's pussy.

About Us

According to Marxist theory, cultural forms such as opera, classical music and the literary works of Shakespeare all fall under the heading of high culture. Low culture refers to a wide variety of cultural themes that are characterised by their consumption by the masses. We might not be Marxists, but we do know we loved Footballers Wives. If you do too, you'll know what this is all about.
