Fact me till I fart
Amazing things about April 21
» BBC2 appeared for the first time in 1964. Without it, we would be unable to enjoy endless repeats of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, so give thanks, people. The first programme shown on the new channel was Play School.
» In 1997, actor Woody Harrelson was said to be outraged that pictures of him had appeared on the cover of Playgirl magazine. We can't imagine anyone else was particularly happy about it either.
» Louise Redknapp claimed in 2000 that there was a strong possibility she would work with her former Eternal colleague Kelly Bryan again. We're still waiting.
» It's The Queen's birthday today! We're not sure if it's the official one, or the other one, but we're too lazy to look it up.
» This time four years ago, Martine McCutcheon was at No.1 with Perfect Moment. There is no imminent danger of her troubling the upper reaches of the charts again.
