Poodles, straddling and Jaffa Cakes
Last night's debut episode of series four of At Home With The Braithwaites offered us, as ever, sparkling dialogue, top-notch acting and more twists than found in your average balloon model of a poodle. It's therefore probably a sad indicator of the natures of we at lowculture that said episode will not be remembered for the any of the above, but for the sight of 'the bird from the Peugeot 106 advert' straddling Virginia and shoving her tongue down her throat. As long as the series continues as such (and involves repeat viewings of that little red skirt!) we will not only be happy but damn ecstatic.
Meanwhile in Sun Hill, Jack and Samantha continued in their attempts to bring down the paedophile ring, totally failing to notice that behind his jaffa-cake-filling disguise (he's orange and slimy!) their prime suspect is none other than Marcus Tandy from Eldorado. Should they clue into this fact it would solve all their problems, given that they could arrest him for acting crimes dating back to the early 90s.
