The Sunday Mirror reports that Coronation Street is about to get its first gay character.
And – hoorah! – it's going to be Todd.
The storyline is still being devised, and it's set to go in front of the cameras in a few months. This gives any interested lowculture readers just enough time to move to Manchester, become an actor, audition for the role of Todd's boyfriend and get the job.
Bunting has already been hung out over at the splendid Famous Males Forums – although, typically for shallow homosexuals, they are complaining that it's not going to be Todd's brother Jason who goes gay, cos he looks better with his kit off.
