Talk about setting your sights high

Michelle Collins quits EastEnders to embark on a string of varied acting projects. Martine McCutcheon quits EastEnders to follow a singing career. Shaun Williamson quits EastEnders to . . . dress up in women's clothes and fall about in a comedy fashion*.
Yes, Barry Evans is waving goodbye to the square (and his six-figure pay packet) to appear in pantomime in Canterbury.
The EastEnders website rather cheerfully announces "BYE BYE BARRY!" on its website today.
"We wish Shaun every success in the future," it says.
All together now: "Oh no you bloody don't"
